No idea what is going on but i like it. Dark Souls first time nostalgia

Extremely janky. Horizontal FOV instead of vertical, so it doesn't work properly on ultrawide. Really seemed like it had potential, but it didn't really live up to it. Probably still enjoyable if you don't care about jank and the fine details.

This is not a long one. Sadly, because it is a hidden gem. By far, this is one of the best soulslike games I ever played. The setting is over the top, the atmosphere kicks, voice acting is suprisingly good. Game mechanics are very good, armor is finally not just a decoration, ranged weapons have their place. It can be rough at the edges a bit, but as you get used to it, that jankyness goes away, and there will be Exploration of the Omnistructure. And if you take that the whole thing is the work of a very very small, three man studio... Well, give them money and let them work! Sequel! Now! We need more Omnistructure! I need more Onmistructure!

TLDR: A great exploration game with some souls-lite mechanics. A little janky around the edges, but not enough to be a major problem. 9/10 Longer version: I had this game on my radar for a long time, but I have to say I was expecting a more medieval setting. I don't know why. When I finally got it and started playing, I was a little put off by how janky the movement felt. It was like controlling a tank attached to a bunch of balloons. But it only took a few hours for the game to hook me with its amazing sense of exploration. So, let's break it down. Combat: As I said, it's a little janky. You have dodging, parrying, light and heavy attacks, ranged weapons, and magic, as you would expect from a souls-like. But the combat has a flow that makes it enjoyable. A big part of this comes from the special attacks your weapons gain once you upgrade them or find upgraded versions. Customization: The game has four main attributes and a lot of equipment, weapons, and rings. The weapons grant special active abilities, and some pieces of equipment also provide passive abilities that help shape your playstyle. The best part is the stones you can attach to your gear, which add even more passive …

The movement and fighting are clunky and feel bad at first, but I got used to it after a few hours. The boss fights are mostly alright, with 2 or 3 of them being pretty good. But the world (the places you get to explore) and aesthetic are the big strength of this game. Exploring the areas and finding the way to different ones was the most enjoyable part of the game and also the reason why I would recommend it. I can’t say for sure how good the story is, because I don’t read item descriptions. And the devs didn’t want me to know. But based on a plot twist in the last few hours in a cutscene it made a pretty 5/10 impression. But it’s easy to ignore so it didn’t hurt the game much. The worst was said plot twist, which actually annoyed me, because of how generic it felt. Objectively IGN 7/10 My enjoyment: 9/10

If your favourite games are dark souls 1 and bloodborne, then this game is for you. Yes, it is a bit janky, just like every indie soulslike. But the atmosphere, music and exploration are just top notch. Give it a try, if you dont mind rough edges.
