About Brave Hero

BRAVE HERO is a platformer where the player faces a seemingly simple task to collect all the shards of the crystal. Shards are scattered across tangled levels, where traps lie in wait. Moving platforms will also add complexity to achieving the goal. It takes a lot of dexterity to jump higher. A trampoline will help you to get as high as possible, which will throw the protagonist high enough to catch and push off the wall. The intricate maze will force you to strain your memory to remember where you were and where you were not. This is the only way to find all the parts of the crystal.
Chaos has come to the world. To restore order to the world, you need to reunite all parts of the crystal so that order returns to the world. Only a real hero can do it!

-Beautiful graphics
-Dynamic gameplay
-Confused levels

Short but challenging. Fast-paced, too. Once you get a hold of the controls, the game will deliver lots of fun.

Brave Hero is a "template flip", that is to say, it's a "game" that has been produced by copying a game template from GameMaker Studio, changing a few things, then dumping the barely functional "product" on Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. In this case it was a GameMaker Studio template for doing a simple retro platformer game. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and results in terrible games like this one. It's worth mentioning the "developer" spent more time playing with GameMaker Studio than most template flippers do, adding custom levels and things, but this is just cheap lipstick on a dead pig. At the end of the day this is still a shoddy GameMaker Studio template, with locked resolution, junk controls, badly polished gameplay etc etc. This is deplorably low quality bundle trash. Little in the way of professional effort was made in terms of game development, using a game construction kit requires no game development talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. It's almost as bad as an outright asset fl…

Короткая, но вызывающая. Также быстро развивается. Как только вы освоите управление, игра принесет вам много удовольствия.

The movement in this game feels so slippery, I tap the right button for half a second and go flying into a pit of spikes. Furthermore, the game needs to be balanced.. I collect like 100 gems then die and have to do the entire thing over again and it just feels so unfair.

Brave Hero, developed and published by Welland, is a minimalist 2D platformer that centers its entire experience on precision movement, hazard navigation, and a steady climb in difficulty. It presents itself with a very simple premise—collect scattered crystal fragments and restore balance—but quickly makes it clear that its real focus lies in mechanical challenge rather than storytelling or world-building. This is a game that strips things down to fundamentals, offering a straightforward but often demanding platforming experience. The gameplay loop is built around exploring compact, maze-like levels filled with traps, moving elements, and hidden paths. Each stage requires you to locate and collect crystal shards before progressing, encouraging both careful navigation and thorough exploration. While the controls are easy to understand—jumping, moving, and interacting with environmental objects—the execution demands precision. Timing becomes increasingly important as levels introduce tighter spaces, more hazards, and sequences that require chaining movements together without error. One of the more notable aspects of Brave Hero is how much it leans on memorization. Levels are often…
