I've played this game for a bit and I'm already enjoying it a lot. It has interesting storyline, art style and pretty good voice acting. I loved the beginning scene and music, it's really well-made. Some parts of the game might be buggy but I'm sure it will all be fixed soon enough. This little masterpiece was made by a single indie developer and I believe it was worth it. The creator has probably spent a lot of time working on this game and we should support him for that. The game is still going to be polished and updated so we shall help with whatever we can.136 found this helpful
I am always trying to excuse small problems that the indie games may have and assist the small studios. Except...when the problems are not so small. The Little Brave have a lot of good things going on - great art style, nice music, even cute story. However there is one big problem that is really ruining the game for me - controls. See, in platformers/metroidvania games like this, you need controls as precise as it's possible. And here... For some reason playing with controller is hard. There is a delay between hitting the button and the reaction of your character and some things, like the menu options can't be properly selected with the crosshair (so, as you can see in the video below, you have to aim few inches away from what you want to select). Add to that the a bit strange hitboxes with melee weapons and the result is...game that is not really unplayable, but not as enjoyable as it could be. Strangely enough, i am not seeing the same delay when playing with keyboard, you can easily select whatever you want with the mouse, so if this works for you - good. The Little Brave needs some work. The art is fantastic but if you want to climb up on a ledge on a small platform, it shifts you over the the other side of the platform. I like the game but it doesnt show the controller prompts when using a controller. 5/10 because i am very neutral to the game because it's not a bad game just needs some work.1 found this helpful
VERY Cute game, i would give it 10/10 but i feel the lack of direction/where am i going/whats my task/wheres my waypoint? lol I need that. but all in all i liked it. :)1 found this helpful
All right so far this game is pretty decent although there's a lot to complain about the combat in it feels a little bit extremely wonky when you go to hit someone it isn't connect most of the time so you have to get up close personal with the monsters. Jumping in the game feels floaty as hell trying to jump on any platform sometimes your character will grab it and start floating through it instead of climbing it. The story for it seems a bit interesting though definitely need to put more time into it to try to figure out the best solution for things but the game can definitely be frustrating.1 found this helpful
