About Breath of Life

You are not human. You are an Incarnation—born from the Void by cultists who themselves cannot step into the Cursed Lands.
Here, even death finds no rest. But you were woven from nothing, created to walk where the living fell by the thousands.
Your goal is the artifact "Breath of Life" - the heart of an alien power, capable of awakening a dead world… or destroying it forever.
There is no heroism here. Only the cold of ruins, the whisper of the dead, and the eternal hunger for power.

What awaits you:

  • The Refuge Village - the last place where fire still burns. A smith, merchants, and whispers of the past dwell here. From here, a portal leads into lands no living soul may tread.
  • Places of Power - arenas where you must endure endless waves of the risen dead.
  • Shattered Worlds - vast regions where every step is carved through blood, scavengers, and the restless dead of a cursed land.
  • Loot & Crafting - find, gather, forge, upgrade. Everything you carry from battle matters - without it, you will not survive to the next portal.
  • Runes & Abilities - power is never free. Each ability has a price, and only the Rune Master knows the true cost of magic.
Breath of Life is more than just a third-person action game. It is a journey through a land where even death cannot rest. Here, what should have long been silent rises again. Each portal is a step closer to the artifact and a step deeper into the abyss.
This path was not chosen by you. But now, it belongs to you. You are a child of the Void. Every battle brings you closer to the answer: will you become salvation… or catastrophe?

Terrible game, terribly optimised, 5080 running hotter than on Cyberpunk 2077 on max settings with Path Tracing. What a joke. This is slop. Combat is laughable. Cutscenes don't even have voice. What was i thinking?! Refunded.

I enjoy my time playing "Breath of Life". This indie action-adventure RPG game is superbly well-made. One of the elements that I love about this game is that there are no numerous fetch quest tasks to complete and no complicated puzzle trickeries to solve. This game is a straight forward teleport to a location from your village safe haven; obliterate the enemies; complete the assigned task; and GTFO by teleporting back to your village safe haven. This is a great game to play to pass the time and help maintain your hand-eye coordination reflexes. I highly recommend purchasing and playing this fantastic game.

Goth Girlfriend Simulator. I enjoyed it well enough to recommend, with caveats. Perfect play while listening to podcasts. I liked the art direction, the character and enemy designs, and of course the most important in every RPG: Fashion :) It's a simple RPG with decent power fantasy mowing down hordes of undead and the occasional wildlife, but the environments are a bit repetitive and the enemy AI is very basic. The latter is probably easier to fix if they would try to overwhelm you more, and / or hit harder. Even the largest enemies hit like a wet feather at endgame; I almost exclusively used health potions to vendor for money. Also, you can interrupt-lock every enemy with dual-wield (don't know about other play-style), perhaps giving some enemy attacks super-armour could fix this, and / or adding stamina management to attacks, dodges and sprinting (in combat). I'd also add more weapon runes, currently they only seem to add extra damage. I'm thinking of stun chance (easiest, since stun mechanics are already in the game), life-steal for % of dmg done, and maybe freezing to slow down enemies. As for the environments, arguably the two best locations are the cave and the last map…

I love this game, I played all the way through, without issue, didn't feel grindy or anything like that. character creation is great, go sexy dark witch or cutesy goth, doesn't matter, the gear looks great, there's also a transmog system, which I love. I want my gothy sailor skirt. Fun, simple, doesn't hold your hand or treat you like a child with a stupid tutorial, and I really don't see this game as souls like, I don't touch souls but I loved this game. the world looks good, the characters look good. its a little repetitive, enter, kill tons of skellies, then go to the next, but sometimes you just need to slash up some skellies and derpy undeads. I do wish there was more than one character slot though.

Completed the game. I wanna say, The stuff, the combat everything feels wonky and it becomes repetitive after 4 levels. otherwise an average time killer, but I kept playing more hoping for something better but it's just same all over. the storyline just exists and the enemies have the same AI, same attacks just different skins there are maybe 5 types of enemies but overall an okayish game just try to get it on discount otherwise don't bother. not worth the original price of $7

easy, simple arpg with lack of QoL but somehow just good enough to worth the price.
