I rather like realistic limited inventory and the way all things Ada carries are displayed on her. Even vials on her belt are of correct color and they clank when Ada moves! Cute! Parrying with light weapons and blocking with heavy ones are so logical. Parrying eats stamina and it's actually so realistic when you have to keep an eye on your stamina bar at all times during a fight. And how you need some sleep after a while and get debuffed if you fail to find a resting place. What I don't enjoy is the way my mount is controlled. It's rather clumsy, so I prefer running. I use my steed as a beast of a burden. And the design is cartoon-ish, which is a flaw to my taste. But gameplay easily overshadows the small minuses, so who cares )

A beautiful looking game that unfortunately had some questionable design choices that would have made the difference between ok and good. It's an ok game. Enjoyable.

I genuinely tried to give this game a chance multiple times. I just can't anymore with this game. I had to cheese the first boss to even be able to kill him, you can get stuck on him and lifted into the air so he gets guaranteed hits on you. I then went forward and went to explore down a ladder and was just constantly stunlocked by an enemy where even trying to press dodge did absolutely nothing. The combat does not feel very good in general, I do not like the durability mechanic of armor and weapons. The healing being potions you have to find is annoying as if you run out you have to farm enemies and HOPE you get more. Maybe when you get further in the game you can buy some I have no idea. The mount gets stressed extremely quickly and is also extremely slow so its practically completely useless even when you do the kick command to make it quicker. I can see plenty of what the devs were going for with this game and I see plenty of potential of how this game could have been absolutely amazing and become a well loved game, but theres so many systems and mechanics that just do not feel that good and just make the game annoying that it ruins the entire experience, especially getting st…

Most of the negative reviews leveled against this game are ludicrous. I think too many people bought into the IGN crap review, got it stuck in their heads, and never mind that IGN is notorious for propping up some really awful AAA games for "reasons." Once you get past the admittedly punishing early game and get a feel for how to survive, the gameplay is quite satisfying and, once you venture out and the world opens up, it's a rich, adventurous experience. Admittedly the elk is just about worthless as a mount; but it's a useful traveling storage chest, has some interesting animations and immersive sounds, and it's very cool to look at. It doesn't bother me. This game is a ton better than some similar games that got inexplicably positive reviews.

A game made free to own in 2025 after originally costing like $20. But is so poorly made with so many dumb ideas obviously not play tested enough I not only uninstalled, but removed from my library as well. And I still want a refund.
