obtuse and a bit clunky (the equipment and combat, for instance), but also cool and unique don't recommend playing without a guide though
Small short game, way different than its sequels but equally worth a shot. If you cant figure out act 2 despite the in game hints and the internet that's entirely on you. Really great immersive sim game worth every coin.
a dinky lil 3 hour thang about some kind of anthro arachnid with sticky fingers and a trusty knife following a skull's commands it's a neat, well put-together stealth action game and apparently there's some secret unlockable stuff if you ♥♥♥♥ around but I had my fun just getting the ending and moving on kinda wished it did more with the stealth before doing puzzles also but it involved the platforming and I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with it so I had a joyous time of it

Iam sorry but... what the feck is act II </3
To preface, I played Brush Burial after having played BB: Gutter World. As other reviews have mentioned, if you're a fan of Gutter World and want more from this universe, it's worth picking BB up on sale. Otherwise I'd pass. But buy Gutter World, it's phenomenal! Brush Burial is a short, experimental immersive sim that mixes FPS movement, stealth, and combat to sell the experience of being an aggressive, silent, deadly assassin from another world. It takes place in three acts: Act 1 takes place in a sprawling, underground sandbox, filled with collectable mission objectives, stealth encounters, and NPC encounters. The scale of this area is impressive for a game of this size. Act 2 I'm more mixed on. It serves as a large cryptic puzzle, where the player is required to navigate a series of rooms in order to collect another handful of mission objectives. While each room has a short, engaging puzzle to be solved and navigated, the way they're assembled as a collective can be a bit obtuse and frustrating. Act 3 is the shortest act by far, only being a simple boss fight. If I'd played Brush Burial before its sequel, I'd say that it was a solid foundation held back by some abrasive d…
