Pond Scum: A Gothic Swamp Tale is a paid VR platforming game. It worked on my Index and HTC Vive and Meta Quest 3 system, looked ok, sounded ok, played ok. Very hard. Maybe buy, if you like platforming games in VR. I got a free key for this from the Steam Curator program. ViVE VR curator group

Has an interesting retro look that pulls you in with cute characters. The music was great, and motivates you through the starting steep difficulty curve. It's a funky fun game i can see myself returning to when i want a quick VR session.

This game is insane! Just saw it appear in recommendations and was visually appealing, so I had to get it. So much fun and the levels are crazy! Really interesting world they have created here. Reminds me of old school nintendo but in VR! Certainly recommend.
This game is so damn good!
I'm loving the Aussie vibes with those eshay otters haha – such a cool touch. The whole look and feel of the game are spot-on, It feels like you're diving headfirst into this rad, stylised swamp world. I don't know how to explain but it's like playing in a diorama or something, I wish I had it as a kid haha. The colours they picked are like a 90s bowling alley carpet, but in a good way, nice flares of neon colours but also places to rest your eyes. The hand-painted textures scattered throughout the game are a nice touch too. Also the sound design is good as well. The story is well thought out and pulls you in, making you want to keep going. The mum that keeps encouraging you really gets you through those tougher levels. You can tell the devs put some heart into it. So, if you're into a game that's not just visually stunning but also throws in some Aussie critters and a killer story, give it a go! It's a wild ride worth taking.
