About BRXKEN INSIDE
Shion is the best student in her class and the protagonist of the story. She won't let anyone near her because she was left disappointed in people a long time ago. Her life is boring and monotonous: during the day she goes to school, and in the evenings she sits by the window and listens to her favorite music. She dreams of changing everything, but the trauma of her past prevents her from doing so. All that remains is to try to keep a fragile balance in the present.
But her attempts at a calm and measured life will come to an end when she meets a girl named Akiko.
Akiko is a recent transfer student who quickly wins the love and acceptance of those around her.She planned to take the title of best student to be friends with Shion, but the girl saw her only as a rival. This didn't stop the newcomer; on the contrary, she began to look for other ways to attract attention to herself.
Why is she so interested in Shion? And how far is Akiko willing to go to achieve her goal?
Mirai is Shion's older sister. She forbade her sibling to communicate with anyone or make friends. She justified all the bullying and prohibitions by her strong love and concern for Shion’s future.Despite the fact that Mirai has long been dead, her words and actions still have an impact on the main character.
Will Shion be able to free herself from Mirai's influence and get closer to Akiko, or will she always be alone?

What Steam players say

Players consistently praise BRXKEN INSIDE's visual art style and atmospheric presentation, but criticize the story, character logic, and thematic handling of sensitive subjects like schizophrenia as poorly executed and insensitive. The game is seen as a short, gimmicky experience with little substance that fails to justify its premise, with most reviewers suggesting it's only worth playing if priced very low or if you appreciate its dark absurdity ironically.

They often dive into sensitive topics that reflect on our society, thus fuelling how the player perceives said topics. BRXKEN INSIDE fails to take this into consideration. It decides to be extremely edgy without consideration for its subject matter, primarily schizophrenia. Add on an abysmal story and you're in for an uncomfortable experience, if not outright gross.
Graphics
The artwork for BRXKEN INSIDE is nicely done. All three primary characters look good, and the backgrounds are solid. There aren't many differing expressions, but there are a couple of varying outfits. My only complaint with the character art is that Akiko has some strange faces where you can't see her tongue with her mouth being open. All of her other expressions are fine, as are the other characters. A decent amount of CGs are present. All of them are well drawn, though there is no gallery to unlock them in. cute art, short game - It has no substance but the art is good so its meh
The logic/adults/instinct of self-preservation/object permanence doesn't exist. And yeah, despite the game tells you that changing the appearence doesn't change who you're.... IT CHANGES(also according to the game). That's so messed up, but fun to read with someone who'll share your feeling of absurdness. If in your country it costs more than 5 EUR, it's not worth it, coffe is much better option. Ambient music is cool, the novel is not...
