Build Lands

What should be a relaxing and fun game to play is actually quite buggy and frustrating. Disappointing. On steam deck, I ran into an issue where it crashed as I finished a puzzle, which makes every level I play on it crash as well. I cannot continue there. On PC, it runs poorly and is quite demanding. It freezes a lot on puzzle completion but will continue to work after. The menu is not great and lacks clear labeling, there is no tutorial. The placement of objects on higher levels is frustrating For instance, a block cannot "float" so you cannot hide the lower level, and you need to get your mouse on the exact spot on an existing connection if the lower level has nothing below the one you want to place. The lack of better visibility options makes this more tedious than it should. Yes you can click the hammer icon and toggle levels and their visibility, but no this is not enough with many things looking very similar. Color blind options would be welcome. The sounds are fine, the visuals fit and are nice enough to look at. But the game play really brings down my rating.

It's fun. I don't do puzzles I just freebuild. The editor works great but you are limited to fairly small worlds and a decent amount of bricks and stuff but I'd like to see more. If this was expanded with animations,path finding etc..you know game stuff it could be a lot more than it is. But for now it scratches the itch for a casual building experience.

Got soft-locked in the tutorial. After restart I could then play this tedious and uninspriring "game", where you really can't do much and the controlls are way to finicky and limited to build anything with fun. Also there is no mode where you gain point or have a story or an objective or anything. Sorry, but I can't reccomend this one.
