Game is not bad, BUT at current state it's not possible to finish it ! The last location or quest appears but you can't choose it ! And also 2 achievements are broken. Game is released since January 2016 and still not fixed.

It used to be free on mobile, it was an amazing game. I don't understand why so many people are so upset about it. It was a mobile game. It didn't need options because you could just turn down the volume. I do think they should add some options, but seen as it was said to be finished a long time ago I don't see that happening. Also, it is no longer on mobile, so there is no free copy, if you want to play it; buy it. Yeah it takes a long time to get from place to place in the map, I think it would realistically too if the streets were flooded with zombies. Its an old game, I think people should get off their high horses and realize that. It's old, and for being old, its awesome. Also yes, coffee, because sometimes you need a little coffee break. Sadly you cannot full screen it, but guess what... that's because it was a mobile game. It was not originally meant for the computer, so cut them some slack. No one is working on the game, if you want to turn down the volume, then guess what.. your computer has a volume button too. This game was my whole childhood, and I still absolutely love it. BuriedTown: Imagine This War of Mine and Zafehouse Diaries birthed a mobile-port love-child. And it's decent... I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed either of these titles... Your shelter/resource contains the genetics of TWOM, including: crafting. cooking, defense, sleep/exaughtion, weather/temp, and health/mental upkeep. The military-time day/night counter runs continuosly, with every task requiring said amount of time to complete. It's a pretty basic formula for those familiar with TWOM, mostly proritizing what to build to initially survive versus the race to prepare for, and survive, the oncoming winter... The DNA of ZH:D is found in the travel/exploration/combat aspect of the game. Diffrent area nodes will become available as you progress in the game. It consists of timed travel, requiring a few hours to traverse the debris to each destination. Each node has a set number of rooms to explore for potential resources required to survive, occasionally finding secret areas, or you could get attacked... Battle is pure RNG with fast flavor text, there is no "action" here. Before initializing combat, a threat level is given indicating the severity of the encounter. Low th…

I'm surprised it's even letting me post a review for this game, since I was never actually able to play it to begin with. Normally I wouldn't review a game prior to playing it, but honestly, this is more of a review on the developer, rather than the game itself. Let me first start off by saying: The mobile version of this game is pretty good, and I'm sure most of the people who were looking forward to this, would probably agree. The developer mentioned within the mobile version that a Steam version of the game was going to be released, and I was pretty excited. I thought that bringing the game to Steam would mean that they could make the proper modifications and give the game some additions that the mobile version lacked, and really make this game something awesome. I thought wrong, sadly. So, if you are thinking about trying this game, don't. Download the FREE mobile version instead (it's free on Android, not sure if the same is true for Apple devices), and try that one out instead. It's really good. An indie-er, entirely turn-based This War of Mine, with a zombie spinoff Pros - Good survival - Base Management - Permadeath (Makes survival meaningful) - Progression trough permanent unlocks Cons - Windowed (about a 3rd of the screen for me on a 1920x1080p screen) - Poor sound design, reused assets from other games - Automatic combats, based on equipement and RNG I'm really happy to own it, if you wanted a This War of Mine, with only one survivor and zombies, try this game !

Its a good survival game, with base management, permadeath (I like it), windowed (I love it), with good 2D graphics that doesn't try badly to be a 3D. This game is very similar to "This War of Mine". TWOF, however, have a much better interface (and graphics and gameplay and etc etc etc). My point: Buried Town isn't nearly as well done. It feels almost like the developers did only the barely to run (at least, on PC). But its a fun game with a just tag price. I would recommend it.
