What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players consistently praise the game's emotional storytelling, beautiful writing, voice acting, and artwork, with many reporting they were moved to tears by the narrative twists and character development despite the short playtime. The main criticisms focus on the brevity of the experience, the accelerated pacing that makes character attachment feel rushed, and some players feeling the story carries problematic messaging or undertones. Most recommend it as a worthwhile emotional experience, though opinions vary on whether the price matches the 2-3 hour length.

I feel so alone now that it's over.
I love, love, loved this game. Mallory is so pretty! the game is a bit short but all the options you get to pick either are funny or sad and either way I love this game and I recommend you get it if your wanting it.
shiiii let's get into this, i absolutely adore Mallory, genuinely must protect at all cost, i love the plot of this (and the fact it has different ending) and, it has some dark element which i absolutely love for reasons)))) the dlc itself is kinda pricy but because i adore her so i enjoyed it despite it only has very small part that has it Mallory is peak character design!!
loved the story, easy to follow and mostly low stress (till the end). I had to use a guide to get all the endings, but once you find the options that really mater you can start guessing how to get to what. also, while it takes a few hours to go through the story when reading/listning to everything, you can actuly skip from start to end really quickly when ending serching
This was such a nice game, man. Sad Panda never misses. It's short and sweet, and yes I only did the true ending because I couldn't bare seeing bad things happen to Mallory. Of course grab the uncensored DLC, not only to support the devs, but because it makes the story more complete. I rate Cabin Fever a 8/10. Definitely pick it up for a wholesome three or so hours, you won't regret it! Plus, you unlock Mallory in Crush Crush for free if you do. Very cool
