S.H.E.L.T.E.R. - An Apocalyptic Tale

It's an alright game. Above average. It starts off strong but after the halfway mark it does start feeling a little unfinished. You can tell they wanted to do more but just had to get the game out and really wanted to move on to their next project. That being said it's a pretty good first project by the studio. Replayability is a little limited unless you're a completionist but the story is entertaining and the worldbuilding is competent. Like I said, it's above average. The breeding kink angle gets two thumbs way up. If you're into that then don't sleep on this game! It's the benchmark for what an adult game about repopulating a destroyed world should look like!

Game is decent and while the developer claims that they finished the game, it is very clear that they were starting to see a drop in monthly income on patreon and decided to just abandon the game by saving it was finished and moving onto the next game they had cooking. I also don't buy the excuse the dev says that 0.34 the version number was just a number they pulled out of their ass so it was fine to go from that to 1.0. it's clear from playing the game that the second half of the game that the ending is very rushed and the content is super bland just trying to close out the game so they could claim it was finished.

9.5/10 - Great game play mechanics, artistry is fun and great detail. The only suggestion I would make (maybe I didn't play it long enough), would be to add the ability to get the girls pregnant multiple times. Also, I am sure the devs have thought about this, but expand with new story arcs. The epilogue teased further game play, please don't let that be a tease. Overall, great (albeit short) game.
