About Cabin of Shadows - Dueling Impostors-
You are a survivor of a werewolf attack on your village. Barely escaping with your life, you flee to a cabin in the nearby woods. There, you encounter one other survivor.
Can they be trusted? Werewolves walk among us unseen as long as the sun is up, but danger lurks after nightfall. Is the one before you human, or a hiding beast waiting to pounce? Unless you can deduce the truth, you are doomed to never see the dawn of the next day. Quelling your nerves, you nervously greet your new companion.
■ A condensed three-minute, two-player version of Social Deduction
Experience the classic party game redesigned for two players. The mechanics have been tuned for two players, offering an easy-to-play experience while preserving the psychological depth of the original game. Is your opponent a fellow human or a werewolf in disguise? Use the information available to you to deduce the truth!
*This game supports playing with Steam friends and a player who has shared an invite code. Both players must own the game to play.We have official Discord for find an opponent.
■ Lie or tell the truth in a battle of words
Use voice chat to exchange information and deduce the other player’s role based on the cards in your hand.
You have two minutes and thirty seconds to converse. The moment of truth will be here before you know it!
Whether you tell the truth or mislead your opponent with lies is up to you. Do what you must to survive.
■ Doubt alone will not save you
True survivors also have the courage it takes to place their trust in another.
The human being eaten by the werewolf is not a fixed outcome. Trusting the other player just may save your life.
■ Five distinct role cards introduce complex strategies:
The Survivor, a human who is free to do as they wish.
The Misanthrope, one who has lost their faith in humanity and is unable to trust others.
The Werewolf, a being that hungers for human flesh.
The Fool, who's actions are even less inscrutable.
The Ghost, a being that is ally to neither human nor werewolf.

TL;DR 1v1 social deduction game, that really boils down to chance. Now that is not to say there's no fun in the talk and there is some deduction, but the more you play you realize there's no real "truthful" action to back up your claims. Definitely an interesting concept though, and might be worth is depending on your view on cost vs enjoyment. The Good: Each round is short and concise enough that playing a few rounds will let you figure things out with the explanations. Interesting take at doing a social deduction with just 2 people. Visuals are enough to set the situation, nothing too extraordinary. The Bad: The real social deduction only comes from talking since actions won't "really" back up your claims, which means that in the end there's really nothing believe except cards that you see. Having to create a room for every rule adjustment can be an inconvenience. The "ready to choose" button at the corner is easy to miss. The variation in the probability of the roles are rather unclear since it only seems to change the number value of each role's draw probability. As mentioned before, it's a social deduction game, so talk is everything. However, it is also kind of meaningless…9 found this helpful
