This game is just an update of the game Hoofobia released by the same person last year. Seems like they are trying to capitalize on selling the same game twice. The window the game runs in is even named Hoofobia which is a dead giveaway, even though the dev claims it is a unique game in the discussion board. Also, it is extremely poorly optimized. I can play Arc Raiders on my ROG Ally at 55-60 fps low/medium 1080p with FSR. This game runs at 20 fps OR LESS at 900p on ultra low settings. Nowhere near ready for release, this should be early access. TL:DR - feels like a cash grab carbon copy of the dev's first game. Runs like crap, play the demo first or just avoid.32 found this helpful
No updates since launch. A ton of issues and the game breaking a lot is not worth the price. You shouldn't charge for this. Its a borderline scam.6 found this helpful
Not even close to being ready for release. Just play the demo instead *Edited after developer reply: In terms of bugs, aside from generally wonky physics, which isn't really the problem, a knocked down deer got stuck to me and got catapulted around before falling out of the map so the session became unwinnable. In general, dragging the knocked bodies feels really inconsistent. But the bigger problem for me was the extreme lack of content and variety, combined with what seemed like a not very balanced experience that limits what you can do if you want to win. I'll try to summarize my problems into concrete points: - As a deer, it seems like you have to stick to a herd near the cameras, otherwise you're literally doing nothing to advance your mission. This makes it easy for the hunter, since he always knows where to check and his close range scanner immediately lets him know that he's at the right place. It would be good if the deer had more ways of interacting with the world or blending in. Maybe it could be cool if the normal deer somehow reacted to what happens around them? - Having both a close and long range scanner without any restrictions makes the hunter kind of overpower…4 found this helpful
Definitely a major unfinished game, but looks like a fun concept!3 found this helpful
Trash game, the first one was better, cameras have too much health, truck escape bar is too much, not worth it, and i even got it for free.3 found this helpful
No players in game, I accdientally left the game open so I have 45 minutes of staring at a menu and no actual gameplay.2 found this helpful
