I dont usually write Reviews for indie games, but this "thing" rubbed me the wrong way a bit too much. So what is "CADE PRIME"? - A quadruple Assetflip bunched together. - It literally uses the demo levels of the Assetpacks linked below as the entire games content - Green - a complete mess Assetpacks (Appear in this order in the game with pretty much zero changes to the levels themselves.): 1: https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/product/advanced-puzzle-constructor 2: https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/product/first-person-puzzle-template 3: https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/product/ultimate-fps-puzzle-kit 4: https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/product/puzzle-logic-system 1, 3, 4 have playable Demos on the store page, which is the stuff that is in this game. (which means, you can play 3/4 of the game for free, in way better graphics, if you really want to give this a go.) 2 has a video of what appears in this game, but in green: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=450TtZhl0Js
That aside, lets get into the other stuff that this game does not have:
- A menu (Esc closes the game) - Graphics options - Sound options - Keyb…

At first, I would like to say that Cade Prime worth its price - only one buck, but don't expect anything really innovative. This game uses the Unreal Engine, but its dev team has chosen an ugly omnipresent green color - and really it hurts eyes. I don't understand this choice, but I guess it takes all kinds to make a world. Why not? However, some visuals effects are really impressive. Cade Prime is not a traditional puzzle game like Portal or Antichamber. Instead you have to find some clues here and there. Sometimes it seems to me that it is more an exploration game than a puzzle game. There are some visual bugs, but the controller works well as expected. The big problem is that there is no saving system - and it is really annoying to restart all levels again each time. Furthermore, the difficulty curve is bad. You start with some blocks to push in little rooms, and quickly you fall in a huge hangar which is really hard to solve.  In conclusion, Cade Prime is an interesting project for a while, but it needs to be improved by its dev team. Honestly, there is still a lot of work to be done ++

You might be put off by the beginning of the game because of how much green there is. It's just difficult to see what you're doing, where you're going, and there are some odd bugs here and there. But look past that, because the latter half of the game has a handful of decent levels that have some Portal or Q.U.B.E like puzzle elements, and is the fun part of the game. I'd of liked for this game to have consisted more of the type of levels and puzzles you saw in that half, and just skipped the parkour/platforming levels. As with most of Archor Games titles this feels like a Tech Demo with a bunch of ideas tossed into an experience in a quest to find something that works. There's always a bit of improvement, and this one had some nice physics interactions as well as puzzles.
