"Cardiac Unrest" is a low key asset flip, a bunch of other people's assets assembled badly to make a basic game, typically this kind of thing is done by amateur developers without sufficient budget, talent and/or staff to do the job of game development professionally. It's then quickly rushed into Steam Direct. And, unsurprisingly, this never results in a product with any quality, interest, or value for gamers. This is an extraordinarily bad Unity kitbash/low key asset flip, wander around some school assets dumped on a third person action game blueprint/template, have the occasional jumpscare and die from a heart attack. Which makes no sense. So, the game might look better than you'd expect from an amateur project, but this is because it's partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Very little in this game is truly the creation of the "developer", it's just a bunch of rearranged assets. While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the …3 found this helpful
A game that is so weird and empty that its funny, and this is not meant as a compliment. Your start is weird, nothing is explained and after a while you are dying, for some reason, but you are still able to shoot, for some reason. Its ok to play to have a quick laugh but its not really a good game in my eyes. I can not recommend it1 found this helpful
too damn dark and there is literally nothing to do, I found like 2 bibles and some bullets and walked around, nothing happened until my heart randomly stopped. maybe there is a way to prevent that but some instructions would be helpful because I have no clue what was happening or what was supposed to happen
Before I played Cardiac Unrest, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Was ok until the game screen started getting darker and darker to the point where I could not see the game, then *poof* "Your heart has stopped". Great, thanks. Rating: 2/10
