About CastleMiner Warfare
CastleMiner Warfare is a competitive FPS with modern day firearms. It takes place on block based maps that are completely build-able and destructible. While playing you can freely switch between build mode and fight mode allowing you to build fortifications in the heat of battle. In addition there is a free build map mode where you can build your own maps, host and distribute them online.
During your battles you will gain points for kills and progress through a series of ranks, unlocking new weapons, equipment, and blocks to place.
Our fluid dynamics simulator, simulates fire, flammable oil, flowing lava, water, ice, and explosives. These materials flow through the map and interact with each other creating interesting challenges during battle. Imagine ambushing your enemy by blasting open an oil tank next to a fire, and engulfing half the map in flames.
CastleMiner Warfare is a direct port of the Xbox 360 title released in 2014. For this reason you can still plug your Xbox 360 controller in and play in the exact manor that you did back then. For this reason we have left in many of the Xbox 360 icons and help screens.

As much as I hate to say it. I cannot recommend this game. Back in the days of the 360 when it was new it was a fun little Minecraft/Call of Duty Multiplayer clone, I could easily recommend it. At least on the 360 when it was a dollar. Nowadays this game is dead and abandoned with no quality life improvements. No graphics options. Not even to change your resolution so when I full screen this game it is zoomed in and some of the screen is cut off. All the options show controller icons as well. Besides that there are no players ever online. I have tried to come back to this game numerous times and there's never any players. No bot support to level up offline even if you wanted to play the game by yourself and rank up. This definitely feels like a game that was ported over from Xbox 360 to PC with little to no care. With the recently announced Castle Miner Z remake there was a quality of life update for the classic version that was definitely needed and that game is way more worth your money. This either needs to get a quality of life update or hopefully a potential remake. Either or is desperately needed here.
