Cat Squeeze

The premise is funny and allows for a clever core mechanic that puts its own spin on the base sokoban style gameplay. The cute presentation matches the delightfulness of the gameplay and there are plenty of levels that explore all the applications of the core idea, with additional gadgets introduced in each of the following areas. The mandatory puzzles that need to be solved to clear the story are not too difficult but no pushover either. There are more optional hard levels too. At the time of writing this review I rolled credits and did enough optional content to get to 57% clear rate, after playing for 8.3 hours. I also previously played the demo so I probably took less time in the first area than completely new players. I think the game is great, 4/5 and mostly flawless in what it sets out to achieve. The only criticism I have is that undo should work on resets too. It's no biggie though and other than that QoL is very good. For some reason the frame rate during the opening cutscene gets weirdly low (even on PC) but in the rest of the game it is fine. I played on Quest 3, using GameNative.

Cute game with some tricky puzzles. Would recommend to all puzzle fans. This is a fun one

It's cute. It's got cats. It's got a relaxing soundtrack. It's got plenty of interesting puzzles. 11/10 would recommend squeezing that cat
