abandoned, but still in early access garbage devs doing garbage things1 found this helpful
Pretty fun for what it is, but it's been abandoned and is very incomplete. There just isn't that much content here; a couple bosses and not much progression in level design or interesting enemies. The gameplay is a blast but there are definitely balance issues (homesick shard can softlock you and force you to fly into the death ceiling, for one thing). I'd love to see it finished! Maybe there's modding potential, I dunno. But if you need mods to make a game worth the price then it's not worth the price. Music and artstyle is nice tho.
Abandoned game...
Kickstarted way back when and... yeah. Obviously abandoned. Why Steam hasn't taken it down is beyond me.
Just play 2D Risk of Rain or even 3D Risk of Rain. Not a great game to pick up and play it can be very frustrating. You will drop into caves that are full of bats and fish like playing crossy roads, come-on. After getting a few powerups and levels you will make it to the first boss and die instantly. Oh and this game is still E-A after 12 years. Abandoned. Vine? Wasn't that the early ticky tocky that failed in 2013-2014? PASS
