Damn, she didn't deserve that ending.
Even more of an "eh..." than its predecessor.
What I played so far I enjoyed very much. Amazing atmosphere.
CAYNE is a free science fiction horror adventure developed and published by THE BROTHERHOOD that proves a compelling experience does not require a premium price tag. Set within the same universe as STASIS but designed as a standalone story, the game introduces players to Hadley, a pregnant woman who awakens inside a sinister research facility with no memory of how she arrived there. As she searches for answers, it becomes clear that the people behind the facility have disturbing intentions involving both her and her unborn child. This gripping premise immediately creates a feeling of vulnerability that remains at the heart of the experience from beginning to end. The narrative is one of the game's greatest strengths, relying on slow-building tension instead of constant action. Every room, document, and conversation gradually uncovers the truth behind the grotesque experiments and mysterious organization controlling the facility. Rather than overwhelming players with lengthy exposition, the story encourages careful exploration and observation, rewarding those who pay attention to environmental details and subtle clues. The result is a mystery that remains engaging throughout its ru…
I'm simply amazed why the devs didn't put any price tag on this game. They really put in some hardwork into this ! It is gore, strange and has a very old school sci fi first alien movie vibe. I'm really digging the audio fvx, the PDA and other little things really remind me of those 80s sci fi movies, in the best of ways. Puzzles are pretty intelligent but I must also point out that some are down right crazy to figure out. The logic behind some of them are... I don't have the words. Reading a guide seems necessary at some point. That really is the main and only grudge I have here. But other than that, amazing short and free (This is really nuts) little gem. I had a blast discovering the story and the real MADNESS of the writters behind this scenario. Oh, and was Ridley Scott recruited for the intro cinematic ? Really well done. Congrats to "The Brotherood". Mysterious guy(Cayne) deserve and Oscar Emmy Acting award for catfishing me and Hadley deserve better fate. Overall very gloomy and dystopia Storyline but i love it not every single character is likeable in this facillities.
