About Chaos Domain
Blast through a chaos-infested spaceship in this hardcore run-and-gun platformer inspired by classic 8 and 16-bit shooters like Contra and Doom Troopers. Upgrade your weapons, grab power-ups, and tear through 30 stages of relentless action solo or with a friend in local co-op.
Apart from that, it is also a run and gun platformer, powered by Unreal Engine. The game is highly influenced by games from 8-bit and 16-bit era, including Contra/Probotector series, as well as titles like Abuse and Doom Troopers.
The game is set on a huge spaceship occupied by chaos cultists, where the main character (who clearly looks like a hi-tech version of the god Anubis) must kill everyone in sight. The game is obviously not story-driven, it’s all about action.
Players can upgrade weapons and purchase special items that can boost their performance. Local co-op for 2 players is available.

A barely playable Contra wannabe that fails miserably to deliver. Too slow, too unpolished, too assetflippish one would call it today, but it's from Greenlight era, back when it was less widespread I guess. So it's just a bad platformer you should avoid, given it still sells.2 found this helpful
You are, apparently, Anubis! Or maybe some guy in armor that looks like Anubis? Whichever is the case, your magnificent and unique armor protects you from literally nothing. Uh oh, is that Steve from Accounting coming down the hall?! Be careful not to bump into him or you will instantly explode! The in-depth upgrade and items system, accessible by stopping play entirely, setting your controller down to use the required keyboard commands, and spending money that maybe you earned somewhere I guess, allows you greater depth and customization by... letting your base gun that you'll use 95% of the time anyway shoot a little faster! Your fancy armor is already fancy, and since it's so packed with STYLE and FLAIR there's unfortunately no room for anything else like protection, but who needs that anyway!? Traverse ten epic stages ranging from 'inside of ship' to 'inside of ship but more boxes' and even 'inside of ship but blue filter so it looks cold'! Feel your blood pump to the incredible soundtrack that includes such hits as 'public domain vaguely Egyptian guitar riff on loop' and 'do you think the neighbor kid will record a few throwaway tunes for twenty bucks?'!
