Basically unplayable unless you have plenty of people set up to join to your server. Generally people vote on what game will spawn next, if it's a weapon or boss or power up.
8 found this helpful
Technology aside, the gameplay itself is super basic and gets boring fast. You are fighting the same 5 enemies in the same box-y room, with "chat" giving you not-very-impactful choices along the way. Definitely super dated by now.1 found this helpful
I love how this made me hate all my friends.
It's fun if you have a connection to twitch, the random decision offline version of the game is frustrating to no end. I feel that is not so much random and have a tendency to screw you over, for example, a killing combination that will stop your run is * Pogo jump * West winds * Pitted or fire floors. Statistically that would be: 1/3 * 1/3 * 2/3 = 2/27, or 7% But I swear in almost half the games I played this combination appeared. If you want to play single player, the best way to do that is to connect a twitch account with no followers, and write a friend or yourself all the decisions, it can be done but the last boss in lvl 100 can be a nightmare
I LOVE POGO JUMP!!!! I LOVE THOSE TALL BLUE GUYS!!!! I LOVE BEING INVISIBLE!!!! I LOVE FIGHTING A MIMIC!!!!
Felky Fun Meter

|--------|--| [8/10] Very fun!
Still works in 2024 and I had giga fun playing this with my community which is the point of the game; but technically this is below average in almost every way: Weapons, upgrades, enemies, room types, unlocks.. I'm giving this a Biased-Recommended since this is one of the first Twitch-Integration games I've ever seen back in ManVsGame era and it felt revolutionary; but I think it's a bit expensive for its content right now.
