Chromium Dino

I'm bewildered how can someone mess up such a simple game so badly. The dino doesn't jump high enough and the cactus hit boxes feel off, making the whole thing unplayable.

[h1] This game sucks. [/h1] I tried this game and it was an awful experience. When I first tried to launch it, Steam couldn't find the executable because it was trying to launch the because Steam was configured to look for Chromium Dino.exe, even though I was using the Linux version. I had to fix this myself by creating a symlink to the actual Linux executable. After that, the game took two whole minutes to launch. Once it finally started, the game itself was okay, but some items are completely out of reach and the camera mode works poorly. And what doesn't help is that this is an Electron app. Why pack an entire browser into a simple Dino game? Just use an actual game engine like Godot, Unity, Defold, or something similar. Then, after I stopped playing, the game somehow managed to crash the entire Steam client, and I had to manually terminate Steam. Overall, this was an awful experience. If you're using Chrome, Chromium, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, or Microsoft Edge, just type: [b] chrome://dino [/b] into the address bar and play the original Dino game instead. Don't play this.

Do you remember how you access the original chrome dino game? Yeah, exactly...

This game feels undone, especially when it's already being a remake of a well established game the biggest missing element is the smaller jump, this game you always do a big jump which makes it pretty hard to get very far in the game. It is kind of interesting it has different difficulties and a daily challenge thing, and I guess different skins and stuff to buy with collected points is neat. But at the moment its not worth playing instead of the actual game 1.9/10
