Chronicles of Delights: Isekai Adventure

Holy slop is this game bad. I feel misled by the "very positive" review status the game has at the time of reviewing the game. Decent art although it seems it was at best assisted by AI. Same for the animation. Heck even the text might aswel be AI assisted with how shallow whatever that "story" was. yikes. And then theres the gameplay: The worst gameplay i have ever played in a H-game. you get like 1-2 seconds to look at a match 2 board and then you have to match em. Too little time imo and you get punished way too hard for having to do trial and error with the time given. (can be cheesed by taking a screenshot of the screen) But even then, standard enemies legit just takes 1 match and then most of the late game bosses need all of the matches.... wtf is that balacing? Stay far FAR away, bought this in a bundle of all the games from this dev but even then i still have paid too much.

Good concept, terrible execution

Chronicles of Delights is a simplistic memory-match battler game. Premise: You are in an accident that nearly kills you, but luckily you are somehow transported to another world through the power of intimate relations with a nun.Of course, you are, like, the best knight ever since you are the chosen and women are going to just throw themselves at you. So, you set out on a quest to defeat the evil queen of Hell. Along the way, you meet various females to join your mission and to "seduce". Gameplay: Similar to Bejeweled, Puzzle Quest, Bookworm Adventures, and many other matching games. The difference is that you see the board of sigils for a few seconds then it flips over and you need to remember where specific ones are (or just take a screen capture) to do attacks. Match a green sword with another green sword and you will do a slash attack. If you match two "x" sigils, the party does a combined power attack (they all attack). I only failed once on the final boss because she removes sigils after a specified number of turns, limiting your moves. Otherwise, the game is incredibly easy and basic. Story: god-awful cliche slop. Art: probably AI but not that obvious -- honestly decent. H-Scenes: 15-second animations. but they're also kinda good tbh. Battles: literally just memory. Music: GIF of the guy playing the piano on fire. who tf asked them to go so hard, and why???? Best of all, if you're a fast reader and good at the battles, you can finish and get all the scenes in under 45min. Personally, I'd consider the small H animations good enough to potentially go back to, so for a chuckle and a jork or two, I'd say it's worth.

The art is good. That's about it. For under 5$ it is worth the money.

didn't really play it for the story so I can really talk on how good it's written. The scenes were okay. very few and short the combat was garbage. 100% was easy. I don't recommend this game. 3.5/10
