"To get rich, first chop trees." You can acquire vast amounts of resources by gathering from resource points and opening resource chests. All resources are the fundamental fuel for civilization upgrades; without resource accumulation, development will be impossible.

The growth of your home base relies on sound planning. You need to reasonably allocate your workforce and set production tasks, transforming raw resources into precision industrial goods. Plan efficient industrial zones, strategically lay out facilities to build a production network, and use the power of machinery to break through productivity bottlenecks, extending your tech tree into the future.

On the floating isles, you’re free to design and expand as you like. Shape barren land into a thriving skybound home—complete with functional facilities, green spaces, and living quarters—using nothing but your creativity and vision.

Across the expanse of the floating isles, dwellers discovered a rare mineral known as Mysterious Glowing Stone, which harbors immense energy within. By channeling the shimmering waves it emits into dormant mechanisms, they learned to awaken ancient machines—setting them into motion and freeing humankind from manual labor.Yet this was only the first glimpse of the power within these waves. Greater mysteries await those who dare to harness them further.

Is your character's movement speed too slow? Is their work efficiency too low?Don't worry! You can enhance your character's abilities by wearing equipment and using idols, boosting their work efficiency and making every action quicker.

The world is vast and ripe for discovery. Venture into diverse regions, each a unique ecosystem teeming with exclusive resources and hidden opportunities. Every journey holds the promise of rare materials, lost technologies, and new frontiers. All English text in the game was translated with the help of AI, so some lines might sound a little funky here and there. ✦ AI summary

Players appreciate Cloud Dwellers' cute art style and forgiving colony sim mechanics compared to similar games, but the title suffers from significant quality-of-life issues that make it tedious to play. The main complaints center on excessive micromanagement, lack of basic features like resource caps and priority systems, slow gameplay speed, and bugs that can break saves and force restarts. While some players note the developer is responsive and friendly on Discord, most agree the game needs substantial polish and feature additions before it becomes genuinely enjoyable.

I had to uninstall the game because I kept trying to figure out how to enjoy this game... This needs a lot of QoL for it to be fun. Right now there is way too much micromanaging required. I don't want to have to keep starting and stopping collection or filtering storage, which causes problems of it's own. At a minimum there needs to be a way to cap the amount of resources gathered/produced. I want to say more but I'm too disabled, my brain is broken...

At this stage, i cannot recommend the game, there is a bug where character's will randomly stop working and moving and then their hunger will go down and they will not move. The advice i received from their discord is to restart which i did and it still was happening. Once this is patched i am open to changing my reivew. EDITED on 17/05/2026: Changing my review to a positive review, the devs are very friendly over on discord and have been able to resolve the issue and patched it. The person i spoke to on their discord is super friendly and lovely, and are open to feedback.

I kept trying to figure out how to enjoy this game... This needs a lot of QoL for it to be fun. Right now there is waay too much micromanaging required. It need ALOT of basic stuff to even come close to games like Oxygen Not Included.. alot No speed up... everything is SLOOwww The lack of basic prio system, og craft amount. And on top of that, Dubs pathing can break, and can't be fixed with load/save.. Breaking the game and forcing a reload after hours. Sure they will be fixed at one point...but right now... not fun

You know, I went to college and got an art history minor. I have a major in art. In all my years of understanding color theory, I can not for the life of me figure out WHY on earth the green crystal beam doesn't seperate into yellow and blue with the glimmer seperator station. Almost as baffling is the color combiner's color combo's which seem to also defy basic color theory you could probably just google or something to get an explanation of. Also, this game needs to make it so once you build a storage unit of any sort that it is set to 'off' so everyone doesn't fill it with random garbage. I've heard others complain about it too. You almost need to make a seperate storage unit for every item in the game and spend hours sorting things. it would also be nice to permanetly remove some of the floating resource islands as they get in the way sometimes but I can be a little more forgiving of this since you could break the game if not careful. the game has some potential other than the pet peeves I have but at the end of the day, games like Oxygen Not Included have more depth and even Ratopia, for its flaws, is better thought out. It's early access so I can see them makin…

This is a very early access title, don't buy if you're expecting a polished game. It needs a whole lot of QOL work first and foremost. The ideas are good and it is fun for a few hours. I really like the art style.
