About Command Center Earth

Drift a missile through unique and punishingly difficult asteroid fields in order to intercept and destroy incoming meteors. Remember though, competition is fierce on the leaderboards, so speed and precision are paramount!Operating the ISJ-10 might seem straightforward at first glance, but perfecting its movement is the real challenge. So buckle up and prepare to sharpen your skills - you will die a lot! But don't worry, the Command Center is well-stocked with missiles, making failure just a routine part of the business. Test your skills drifting the ISJ-10 across 2 unique game modes and 25+ challenging levels. Be warned, though, every mode has its own demands and each level is more punishing than the last. It will take precision, determination, and grit in order to complete your mission.Command Center Earth has been designed from the start to be easy to get into and easy to get out of. With zero loading screens, the game seamlessly transitions from menus to action at the click of a button. Waiting for a few friends to join your lobby? Why not attempt to beat Yuma for the 25th time?Every level & level mode has been painstakingly crafted to ensure players can compete on a high stakes leaderboard. No matter where you play, each level runs exactly the same, fully deterministic across machines! Find a small passage through a few meteors that no one's discovered? If your skills allow it, reap the benefits and shave seconds off your leaderboard time!

I noticed many of the reviews for this game are from people that do not have that much playtime in it so I thought I would leave this one to provide a perspective from someone that plays as much as I do. AT FIRST I didn't think this game was anything special. The core concept and mechanics are good but the on-boarding process for new players is not that great, so I played through the levels a few times and that was it for a while. My perspective changed once I returned to the game with some self-imposed challenges to try. The best one by far was to complete a deathless speed run of the whole game (you can check speedrun dot com for this). Trying to complete this feat (and finally pulling it off) got me seriously interested and invested in playing this. After this, I looked at the game in a more segmented way, seeing how high I could get on the leaderboard for each individual level. This is what made me truly fall in love with the game. The gameplay is deceptively simple; if you're truly trying to get to the top of the leaderboards you will be forced to experiment and discover tricks/shortcuts/time-saves in multiple parts of every level. Now I play the game almost daily and eve…

As of this writing I have completed all the missions available and it was a great time playing. The levels grew challenging as I progressed and especially towards the end I had a real sense of accomplishment when succeeding. I am sure I will eventually come back and try to improve my times and hope to move up the ranks.

Some chill space drifting that slowly layers on the challenge. A great way to kill some time and zone out, especially on the Steam Deck. The 25 levels actually flew by pretty fast! I'd love to see more levels added or a sequel.
