Concealed, just like its predecessor "Ghost in the Pool", offers lovely potential in terms of concept and presentation, but tends to fail in the writing department unfortunately. The suspense and horror moments are truly great, the art is very immersive and captures the grotesque vibes perfectly. Also in general, the manga artstyle creates a memorable atmosphere, I like it a lot! However the ratio of those intense moments to normal slice-of-life is quite dysbalanced, in my opinion. Most of the plot shows basic high school life, but in a rather odd way. It feels like the writers have never interacted with high schoolers before, as most of the characters behave like young middle schoolers at most, and even then many have very comical personalities and drop references to random literature pieces every two minutes. Which is confusing, as the story still touches realistic deeper topics, proving that technically the character writing has the capability of being decent. Besides that, I found the mystery itself pretty interesting and felt eager to find out the truth. i would say the story telling is top notch, i never got bored when playing this, it builds up the suspense while keeping me interested with the slice of life conversation, i kinda nailed the suspect in my mind before the reveal just not knowing how it done it , overalll greatt game, great art , definitely different than others in a good way :pray

A different visual novel, with a decent premise and a nice art style. I'd say my biggest criticism is how little impact you have in the story overall (especially with how often the characters go down a rabbit hole and miss glaring red flags), there are a few choices and most of them have any real impact, but it is interesting how some of the choices do go on to have an affect later down the line. All in all a good little game, especially for the price.

played it a few months back and still think this is peak i really loved the artstyle and need more game recommendations with this kind of style!! there are some moments i was reading the dialogue and went like what the-- but went with it because i was still hooked on the plot the endings are pretty cool too :D i loved trying to solve the mystery and did not see the ending coming (big spoiler of the ending in the next text.. do not hover on the text if you have not played before) [spoiler]i was totally fooled by pretty person's kindness (just like the mc) and really thought they live up to their sweet rep, but not even sad about it because i loved being curious about their plot the whole time while suspecting everyone else of being the murderer, don't know what happened to the ghosts but maybe it was a distraction just for the person to strike, well that's how i like to think of it anyways[/spoiler] forgot to mention the information log of each character and quotes etc was pretty cute makes you want to learn the quotes or something c: word of advice tho: use saves wisely especially on parts where choices pop up, and i recommend looking up a guide for the achievements to specifically…
