Stranger still, the manner of her death seemed to match that of an ancient ritual supposedly practiced in the area hundreds of years before.
Look Inside is a gripping psychological thriller kinetic novel. Take control of Vermont State Detective David Parker as you investigate the case, search for clues, and ultimately answer the question: who was Dwale County Jane Doe?

A short, competent, and fun linear (no choices) mystery story, taking place in a small town with a concise but fleshed out cast of characters. One of my favorite parts was easily the diversity of background images so the VISUAL aspect won an A+ right away - there's seriously over 100! The music is sparse but fitting when it presents itself; nothing overtly jarring or uncomplementary. And the main character is by no means a stupid detective. The writing was clear of glaring typos or grammatical mistakes, surprisingly well-edited for a small cheap VN, and doesn't fall into a habit of lexicon repetition. I would read a book by the author if he ever wrote one. Be sure to look out for "secrets". :) I won't elaborate due to obvious reasons but I like what they're doing.4 found this helpful
A short mystery visual novel that covers a strange murder in 1980's Vermont. Ultimately I'd say it's more a mystery than a detective story due to the lack of evidence and testimonies involved, so it's more about connecting a few tenuous links to make enough of a case against a particular person. Still, I liked it. Keep an eye out for bloody snowflakes as they give you access to secrets, which are basically extra scenes for more context.1 found this helpful
