I hate to say but this game is not fun at all. I played with steamdeck. good: 1) hand drawing somehow apealing. I liked art style 2) adding story nice touch. instead of putting player in game go kill Bad: 1) game bugged gave me springs which suppose to double jump? or mid air jump. it didnt work at all (I closed game re opened nope didnt work) 2) Melee range is too short and it is really annoying trying to get close enemies instantly turn with full speed. 3)check points doesnt reset enemies. 4) instead 'huh' jump voice instead use pod hitting wall sound that would be funny and really matches game. 5) make flying things 1 hit health or increase melee range or give ability to upgrade melee range. 6) music keeps repeating. if you are lacking music use ambient audio for background

Yes, it's short, the controls were a bit weird, and I was so bad at it, that I gave up on the final boss XD But the atmosphere, the beautiful textures, the relaxing sounds, the gorgeous artwork - this game was a feast for my senses!! Thumbs up from me and I hope to see more games from the developers!

Basically about two (maaaaaybe three) area's worth of content out of a more regular adventure platformer followed by an ending. The game's rather polished so I don't think that's the case, but if you told me that this was the first act of a larger project that got cancelled but then the publisher decided to ship as much salvageable content (with the plot adjusted for that), I'd believe you. But what's here is a enjoyable albeit basic experience. Your one utility upgrade is double jump which you get early on and that's as complex as things get. The final proper stage (the are a before the final boss is trivial) you visit is somewhat "dungeon-like" with unlockable doors and teleporters (of little use given how they're spread), and even that is mostly just platforming in small platforms while dodging enemies, like the rest of this game. There's three "boss fights", but the first two are not really traditional fight ("kill X amount of enemies" and "destroy all these targets while getting pestered by sometimes unfair attacks"). The final battle is more of a proper one, though it's also arguably half-puzzle as killing the enemy "cleanly" can take too much dodging. Final pet pee…
