Corner Shop: Nightshift is a first-person narrative horror sim set in a failing convenience store.
You play as Adam Callahan, trying to put your life back together.
Stock shelves, clean up, take deliveries, scan items, and serve customers with snacks, sandwiches, and kebabs. Upgrade the store with cameras, alarms, and stronger locks. Manage your time, your money, and your sanity. Meds don’t pay for themselves.You play as Adam Callahan. His wife is gone, his daughter was taken, and his life is falling apart. You play as a guy who stumbles upon a job opening for a corner store in the middle of the night. He's a psych patient who is currently trying to prove himself stable enough to get custody of his daughter back from the state. While he's working in the store he has hallucinations and if you struggle with seizures or are photosensitive I don't recommend playing because things look a little flashy as he's going through these hallucinations. I wouldn't say this game is horror, but it definitely gives a eerie/creepy vibe that's also blended into a grocery store simulator. I enjoyed what little bit of the game I have played and I'm looking forward to story and shop progressions as I get farther in it.3 found this helpful

infuriating garbage the multi tasking is already tedious but the deep horror and haunting is really stupid and out of place lights going out and haunted coat rack is super annoying. it wont stay dead pay is crap when vs many upgrade options the things your boss says is weird af, things no human would say. he doesnt do stairs.. ok? but dont show your face? we pass out, left the store, somehow visit our dr in the dead of night, the next night someone ordered items? who? vic the boss or the ghost? the last guy quit. only one guy works at the shop the guy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the job that he needs, battles silent hill demons... wtf while also dealing with a ex or a divorce, this dude is a disaster
