Cornucopia®

I have tried to play this multiple times being that I am seasoned veteran of the farming sim genre but even with its 10th version and an arachnophobia mode (which is what stopped me from playing it before) it still felt so damn clunky. Normally I give a new farming sim an hour or two to get a hold of the mechanics, but after that hour or so it still felt like I needed another tutorial. I wanted to like this because it was a more 'adult' version of the farming sim genre but in the end, I was just left with a game that felt unfun and tedious for no reason. P.S, The arachnophobia mode is a joke because loading screens still have the damn spider along with the cut outs in the arcade.

Cornucopia is an awesome game, it's still being improved at a steady rate, and the gameplay is solid. Some of my favorite features: You can slide to adjust the camera angle between horizontal and top-down, you can individually choose each NPCs artwork version, and recently the tools were given auto-slots separate from the backpack inventory. I also enjoy the soil type/NPK mechanics a lot, the amount of fruit trees is bananas (haha), and the NPCs have a good amount of depth and likeability too. I do agree that the combat can be repetitive or boring, and I think the money you get from crops needs to be nerfed, but overall I would recommend!

I hope you guy alter the game's name when full release because it's pretty hard to search anything about this game online Cornucopia Valley, Cornucopia Electric boogaloo or something

It's fun and entertaining. Dev is active and working super hard on this! I would recommend this if you like farming games with fighting, looting, foraging and friendships. Definitely one of my favourite games

I'm not that far in the game, but what I played i love it. Especially the characters are the most interesting and fun to interact in any SDV/SoS like farming game i ever saw, yes i even like them more than those in Stardew Valley. + Gameplay is fun, especially that you don't have a fixed time you have to sleep to not collapse. + Combat is simple fun so far + I love the characters + You can activate the intelligent tool activation, meaning you don't have to switch tools yourself, it changes itself depending on what you are aiming at (Stone, wood, crops, animals), which is a great time saver + I love Munger + you have a lot of space in your inventory + the artstyle is <3 ~ You can equip hats for stats, i wouldn't mind other clothing types that gives stats (some for farming, some for fighting for example ~ controller support is good, but sometimes a bit annoying, for example when moving stuff between your inventory and your storage. Not terrible since you can use the right stick as mouse, but a dedicated button to switch between hotbar and storage there would be nice - some things are not easy to understand how things work, for example your basic weapon is a …
