Cosmic Dust & Rust is a tower defence game set in space with 2 stages of game play: The first stage is 'Ship management', where the player must upgrade the internal parts of his or her ship. You can build and upgrade turrets and defence systems. You can also undergo side missions.

[h1] Similar to tower defense game, fly your mothership to infinity and beyond. Build new guns and place them in designated spots, improve shields and general speed. Each level takes a bit too long though. Generally it's not bad, but badly balanced. Couldn't finish last stage because thrusters were improved to the max so I got overrun by enemies. If you want to play this one make sure not to upgrade speed too much or last level is gonna be impossible to complete. [/h1]4 found this helpful
