About Couch Combat
Kill Your Friends!
Grab a gun and be the last one standing in fast, frantic rounds. Play on over 30 stages with a variety of elements and unique mechanics. A unique modifier system will continuously stack modifiers which increase the chaos every round with new mechanics, effects, and items.
Couch-Worthy Combat
Play with up to 4 players locally as you ruin friendships to claim victory! Short rounds make for great party gameplay where you can hand off controllers to others. Also supports Steam Remote Play Together, where you can play with friends online.
Piles Of Guns
Featuring classic FPS staples like the pistol or AK-47 alongside weapons like the BOOMER, a 2d pixelated shotgun.
Mix It Up
In Classic Mode, you get to vote on modifiers which stack up and build the chaos of the game. And after several rounds of building chaos, you face off in a Ridiculous Round with a unique, bigger modifier. After this, all modifiers reset and you get to do it all over again. In Arcade mode, you get to choose all the stages, guns, and modifiers that you want to play with.
Retro Revival
Every stage is based off of a classic movie genre. Slash through your friends with katanas in the lush gardens of the Samurai area. Wallrun at ridiculous speeds through the totally rad Outrun area. Or drink potions in the Fantasy area for strong elemental powers with dangerous side-effects.

This is very funny local co-op game but there is currently an issue where one cannot change the 4th player's control sensitivity because the input to change it is the same as moving down or up to select the player. For me, this makes it unplayable for four play. Posting this so that the developer, can see it. Otherwise, this is the most fun I have had with local co-op game. Great stuff.1 found this helpful
Exactly what it says on the tin. That's how we like it, baby
I have loved this game for a long time... I have been playing on windows for forever. Well since I recently switched entirely to linux, I have not tried the game until a few days ago when I attempted to play and realized that steam is trying to call back to Couch Combat Demo.x86_64 instead of Couch Combat.x86_64. I used SteamTinkerlauncher to start the correct file, however it will freeze after about 1 minute of playing. If I run the executable manually from the filesystem nothing lags and it all works fine. Please fix this and I will 100% recommend your game EDIT: For anyone else on linux struggling with this, unless he patches the game, just use the windows version. Force proton experimental and it will install the windows version which works flawlessly.
super glitchy
Very buggy, makes my ears bleed every time a round starts, overall bad game, don't buy
Congrats for getting on this steam coop discount thing!!! Amazing game! Followed development since the beginning!
