Crossfar does a beautiful job capturing the physicality of space combat. It's incredibly immersive, sucking you into the universe you play in, then you blink and it's been 3 hours of gameplay. So much strategy balanced by incredibly well-designed ship to ship combat, it really feels like playing chess - there's a seemingly infinite amount of strategy. Game optimization is on point, and ship variety really feels impactful. Can't recommend the game enough to those who want to really dig their teeth into a simple on the surface, depth for days type of PvP game.3 found this helpful
-Gameplay: This is amazing! Very interactive and thought provoking especially considering you have to figure things out. It gives you a new aspect to a genre of games that has not been put out before. The visuals are great. It is simple yet complex enough to keep attentions of many players. -Menus: Very bright and basic. There could be some work as to giving more options to modify in game aspects while not actually in game so these don’t have to be done “on the fly”. I love the concept of placing the countries as your different colors of drones. Would also like to see a way to click my friend in steam instead of having to type them. -Options: I like the varying options of the different types of drones. None of the drones are the same at all like the others and that is great! I would like to see more game modes or more maps for the price of the game. I would also like to see an option to choose my own custom colors for drones. -Overall summary: This is a great game and has great potential to be an amazing game. As there is a single developer working on this it is very commendable. There is an aspect of this game (in my opinion) that needs some attention that are defiantly hurting…3 found this helpful
I am loving this game. Had a bit of a learning curve in my first few matches, but after playing with friends and getting the hang of controls and the objective, it is easily one of my favorite ways to enjoy the night after work. Highly recommend this to anyone who loves space pilot / e-sport like games!!2 found this helpful
Depth | This game provides a large variety of repeatability. As one whom is very interested din Star Wars, this game puts you in the seat of a space pilot. I'd love to see how this company expands the game play and allow this to become a larger game for e-sports. Even though I received this game for free, it's something I'd be willing to pay for.2 found this helpful
I suck at it. But still it's fun. Seems like it is a chill community. You always find a match. I like the fact that the movement is really like you feel in space. You can turn around in whatever direction and ask yourself: what is up? What is done? But it does not matter - because you still somehow get along. Somehow I wish there was simply a map where I could fly around and train the combat a little. A playground scene, simply. Fly through a metroid field. Oh, and more music. But the Dev is working on it - which is good. This project is far from being abandoned.1 found this helpful
Fun, but hard to play since you have to use Q and R to rotate instead of mouse. Customization is a necessity. This is a post from just after launch.
