Experienced on the Meta Quest 2 and 3
You can view my gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/e_J5IzAy8rk This is a cute, fun game that I believe is aimed for casual gamers. There's enough of a challenge here, but it hasn't been super difficult in the 2 chapters I completed. I believe there are 3 total chapters, along with 3 different characters (although I may be wrong). I haven't died yet and I have unlocked 2 classes in my 1.5 hours total of total gameplay. It's basically a third person action rogue-like where you control these cute round things with your motion controls. You can move them around via hand movement while pressing trigger or the face buttons to either do the main attack, a special attack, or dodge. You basically float them in space, but the doge is still useful if an enemy attack is imminent. So far I have played the knight which is your basic hack n slash action and I have unlocked the shaman, which has a charged attack and sets up totems with different effects. At the end of the chapter, after some runs in the area, you eventually reach the boss fight. You unlock new buffs & upgrade them as you go along. You also get temporary increases t…

I hope this game gets the recognition it deserves eventually. It's such an underrated gem on Steam. How do more people not know about this?! It is the cutest, most polished little indie game you can play. The narration and toy store are amazing, while the little fights are frantic and fun. It also has some good humor from the worm in spots. haha. I play it on my PSVR 2 as I am a new PC convert, it worked perfectly fine.

Experienced on the Quest 2. Can definitely recommend this game. It has a cute little story and you can wander about the toy shop in between battles. It's definitely innovative and an interesting way of exploring and battling in 3D spaces from an observer's POV.

I haven't put much time into Crumbling yet, but even with that, I can really tell how much love went into making this game. Which made me even more sad seeing only eight steam reviews. The action figure/toy store concept is very cool, and the 3rd person control surprisingly worked well in VR. Though it would be nice to see some gameplay options for the camera in the future, if the devs decide to pick development back up that is. Combat feels satisfying, with a good mix of timing your attacks, dodging enemy attacks, and learning enemy patterns instead of just wildly swinging around (though that can be a viable strategy as you'll find out). It's easy to learn but feels like there's enough depth there to keep you improving with each run. That said the story telling and voice acting just bring the whole thing to an entire new level. It takes a well made polished game and gives it life and excitement. Reading the story, then fighting through levels looking for the next page. All while still wondering what could possibly be next. It all just feels way too premium and made with care to not have the player base to back it up. This should easily be an Overwhelmingly Positive game and is d…
