I am totally into programming games and a huge fan e.g. of Zachtronics games that are similar in concept to this game which is the main reason I got Cyber Sentinel. Sadly, this game is not comparable with even the earlier Zachtronics titles regarding quality or depth. The title has a story, presented in the form of a comic which looks like it was an afterthought and not really part of the game. Other than that I would describe the grafics as bland and the UI as ok - not bad but not polished either (e.g. if you try to change your program after you unsuccesfully ran it, you always have to first restart the program. While that is ok, the game warns me with a highlight every time I do this instead of just asking me if I want to or better yet resetting the current program automatically).. In the game you have to build a program in a color coded flow diagram. The (4) colors can be applied to fields in the game screen where you have to manouver your - I'll call it a dice for lack of a better explanation - in a mace. The tools you have to work with are color changes and triggers bound to colors. That is basically it. You get more than one dice in some levels and you can use the same flow…

https://youtu.be/nR5ci-6xB54 Delivering on the basics for a programming puzzle game is nice but there isn't enough heart or growth to really make it stand out.

Fun + I learn The game is great, the tutorial is very good, the learning curve is perfect

The tutorial seems to be broken. It doesn't start playing at first until I click the back button and answer "no" when it asks me if I want to exit the tutorial. After that, there doesn't seem to be anything that causes it to advance. I've clicked everything onscreen with ever button on the mouse, and pressed every button on the keyboard, and nothing does anything. I can play the level by exiting the tutorial, but I can tell there are things about the program editor that I wasn't able to figure out by trial and error. If this problem gets fixed, I'll give the game another try.

If you enjoy games where you plan a series of manoeuvres to accomplish a goal while avoiding collisions (like Opus Magnum) then you should consider adding this game to your library. It has a unique "programming" format that really works for the way the game is designed. The puzzles are challenging but not so difficult that you give up after a couple of levels.

Challenging fun game with multiple right answers. I like the comic book story style.
