From Developer
Brutal top-down loot shooter. Similar games can be counted on one hand, as action games typically fall into the first-person or third-person perspective genres.
I tried to make something similar to The Division, Warframe or Destiny but on a smaller scale and from a top-down perspective, I played this game for hundreds of hours so that affected the development process :)
My game encourages an aggressive and push-forward playstyle, allowing you to combine various techniques and create impressive equipment-based combos.

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players appreciate the fast-paced action, responsive combat, and solid loot system, with the game running smoothly and delivering on its arcade shooter premise. However, common criticisms include repetitive gameplay that can feel shallow, restrictive arena design that limits the movement-focused combat it encourages, and occasional technical issues like crashes, with some finding the overall experience merely serviceable rather than exceptional.
These kind of games get repetitive and boring to me, but for what it is, I guess it's okay.
devs are destiny 2 fans????
fast paced game, lots of loot, super fun , got exactly what I wanted from this game, runs very well
Overall - it's all right. The game goes for fast-paced action, giving you the option of carrying two firearms, a sword as well up to three skills. Firearms are fairly standard - assault rifles, smgs, pistols, revolvers, DMR / sniper weapons in both physical and energy varieties. Swords are just swords, really. Weapons vary in stats such as fire rate, magazine, etc., so there is some difference even among specific categories. There is a dodge in the form of a slide with a cooldown. Unfortunately, later on you are swarmed with enemies in small arenas giving little maneuverability, so the slide dodge cooldown is felt heavily, especially with certain enemy types (haymakers come to mind). The combat is responsive, and it tries to encourage movement, but then often hems you in with tiny arenas. Still, you have options to help counteract this with various skills and abilities, and healing is a possibility through both. Loot you find can vary in quality, coming equipped with perks (that can't be changed) that increase damage types, change health regeneration, so on. High quality loot pieces can also be fitted with cards, which essentially act as gems or runestones for sockets. They a…
