About Cyberscape
Cyberscape is a single-player FPS with RPG elements set entirely aboard a massive space station. Inspired by the deliberate pacing and mechanical depth of classic 90s shooters, the game focuses on exploration, character progression, and tactical combat within a single interconnected environment.The station is owned and controlled by a ruthless corporate Syndicate that treats people as expendable assets and ethics as optional expenses. Behind polished executive decks and carefully worded public statements, the Syndicate is pursuing projects that were never meant to withstand scrutiny.Your objective is simple: infiltrate the station and put an end to it.

Finally someone saw the potential and brought back Zero Tolerance! Games like this is what the industry should be about. Not just bringing back a classic but making it intuitive and better in everyway... except for the "shotgun collected" voice... The Sega Genesis did better in that department Lol I can't believe this game exists! I was always a huge fan of the original game on the Sega Genesis. I still remember the commercial Lol. If you're a Zero Tolerance fan, you're going to love this game! Zero Tolerance was a flawed game but the people who played it back then still remember it for its unique atmosphere and feeling. It was actually a really fun game... but takes a nose dive after about the first 10 levels or so. I'm glad someone took that concept and made it better. Adding RPG elements would've also been a great addition to the original game so Cyberscape is an improvement on so many levels. Well worth the $11.99 I paid. One of the best things I've seen all year. I can't wait for Cyberscape 2! It would be nice if Cyberscape 2 had Living Quarters throughout the Station for NPCs. In these areas there would be Shops to Buy items and Facilities to learn and Upgrade Skills. …7 found this helpful
You want a retro FPS? [i][b]Like Doom?[/b][/i] No, the other retro FPS [i][b]Like Marathon?[/b][/i] No, the other [i]other[/i] retro FPS. Stuff that resembles titles on 16 bit consoles or later home micros like the Amiga or Atari ST. [i][b]*blank look*[/b][/i] Ok, I guess the appeal is limited. Cyberscape is niche. It steps past the usual suspects that you would get on PC and goes even further back to systems that, on paper, really, really should not have been getting a first person perspective shooter with 3D (or even psydo-3D) worlds. The kind of ambitious titles that would push CPUs like the 68000 to the absolute limits of what they were capable of. From the perspective of PC players of the time, they just seemed like poor facsimiles of their far more capable hardware. Yet, inside those old titles were usually oddly fascinating, working in circles where the traditional design concepts were not set and tended to use alternative logic to the mainstream of the time. Cyberscape taps into that niche. Its alternative logic makes it a genuinely fascinating experience, and as such is the kind of title that should be looked at by the more curious of folks. About an hour in and this game is crispy, clean, and smooth as heck! I didn't grow up on 90s style boomer-shooters but I'm glad this exists. The vibe is chill, the soundtrack is synth heavy and perfect for the deep space atmosphere. the controls are simple and fluid, and the voice acting is right on point. 10/103 found this helpful
Enjoying this so far. Heavily inspired by zero tolerance (or so thats the impression i am getting) just passed the warehouse and got back to hub, upgraded skills then saved, but man im enjoying it so far. even the voice over that may be annoying to some, is just like ZT, although less muffled sounding. cannot wait to see its full potential. so glad that someone finally made something to scratch that ZT itch, been wanting to play it lately but without the low FPS and tanky controls. great job by the devs so far, keep it up! if you enjoy a good old school style FPS similar to the days of SEGA, SNES, etc.. try it out, 'specially if you have played Zero Tolerance.3 found this helpful
