Cyndefense 2

One of the best Tower Defense games I have played. The towers and maps are interesting and the upgrade paths present options to make you think. Graphics are fairly basic, but when you have good game-play, this does not really matter. Had a couple of issues with the initial release, but Developer has been good in fixing.

Game is bugged creeps go off track and game is over. Happens on all maps but I only noticed it on higher difficulty levels.

"Cyndefense 2" is a poorly made, extremely generic tower defense game where you use a bunch of pixel blobs to defend a pixel blob against waves of pixel blobs. It's a buggy mess, and the gameplay is of even worse quality than the visuals. At least it's genuinely, if badly made. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. …

Pretty fun game to play. Definitely recommend. Has both casual and difficult play. Only one question, next Update when?
