About D.W. The Picky Eater
Explore and share Marc Brown’s classic, "D.W. The Picky Eater", adapted from the original storybook into an interactive animated adventure! D.W. and her entire family bring the story alive one word at a time, offering an easy to digest reading mode which is fully animated and voiced. Increase the challenge and the fun with an interactive at-your-own-pace option with lots of bonuses and secrets to discover!
The story centers around D.W., who is an aardvark, and the younger sister of Arthur. D.W. is wary of trying any new foods and would rather stick to plain spaghetti noodles or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. When her family decides to celebrate at a restaurant and she is served a spinach salad, she causes a scene and embarrasses her family. Afterwards, she is banned from going to any restaurants, until she changes her attitude. D.W. starts to worry...what about Grandma Thora’s birthday dinner? Can D.W. reconcile her misgivings and give something new a chance?
Since it's first release in 1998, Living Books' rendition of "D.W. The Picky Eater" has been enjoyed by countless children. Step-by-step, the reader will find the story is full of surprising encounters with many of their favorite Arthur storybook characters, providing new ways to interact with the book again and again.

Great to see some of the classic interactive story books make a comeback!7 found this helpful
yeah i'm pretty sure this is past (or at) the point where living books went downhill - objects that would be clickpoints in any other competent point-and-click (let alone the previous living books) are just static objects, and the ui is unintuitive good for nostalgia i suppose, but if you want a fun point and click from this era, get some of the previous living books
10 Years later I'm still accidentally pressing the print button. Wonderful game.
