About Arthur's Teacher Trouble

Explore and share Marc Brown’s classic "Arthur’s Teacher Trouble", adapted from the original storybook into an interactive animated adventure! Arthur and his friends bring the story alive one word at a time, offering an easy to digest reading mode which is fully animated and voiced. Increase the challenge and the fun with an interactive at-your-own-pace option with lots of bonuses and secrets to discover!

Arthur is having trouble warming up to his new teacher, Mr. Ratburn, who is assigning lots of extra homework to Arthur and his class. Arthur would much rather have a fun teacher that would take the class on trips to the Aquarium. However, after studying rigorously for a spelling quiz, Arthur finds himself at the top of his class along with his friend, "The Brain". Arthur has been entered into the school "Spell-athon". With all this pressure, will Arthur be able to spell all the words and win the competition? Read and find out!

Since it's first release in 1992, Living Books' rendition of "Arthur’s Teacher Trouble" has been enjoyed by countless children. Step-by-step, the reader will find the story is full of surprising encounters with many of their favorite Arthur storybook characters, providing new ways to interact with the book again and again.
  • Both interactive and story modes suitable for different levels of skill.
  • Interact with the pictures and discover hidden scenes.
  • Attractive animations bring the characters to life.
  • Fully voiced as you read! Chock full of memorable scenes!
  • A revitalized re-release compatible with modern platforms.

I adored this game as a child. I bought it for nostalgic purposes and I'm so glad I did. I underappreciated it at the time. The animations are so cute, the pixelated color gradient backgrounds are unique, and there is so much to interact with! I missed the silly voice acting and random interactions. Plus I enjoyed the old school version of the characters. It's very short but I'm sure that's whats best for children with short attention spans lol.

Such a classic. My brother and I used to play this in my mom's classroom at my elementary school. Now my kiddos are having a blast with it. Good stuff.

As an adult that played this as kid there is a ton to be nostalgic about. For younger kids it seems to hit the itch of both offering silly jokes they like as well as the ability to have that joke happen 10 times in a row if they want.
