About Dabado Puzzles
Dabadо Puzzles is a adventure puzzler, that aims to relax the player, distracting him from the dynamic and stressful everyday life. The game is positive, non-dynamic, develops useful qualities such as patience, logical thinking, taking non-standard decision and intuition. Excellent for children with its creative story, art and music. Your main goal is to save the island of Dabado from cataclysms by discovering the Holy Grail.

The puzzle conception is part from bigger RPG setting, called World of Dabado. Some of the puzzles from it are collected in this compilation for all those who want to experience the atmosphere of puzzle genre in his purity.
PUZZLES
Dozens of logical levels in four categories (Main levels, Additional levels, Bonus levels, Unique level), each one with different mechanics and challenges. Use blocks to build construction and collect score items, signs, buttons and many other goodies. Don't forget for the plus items (gives additional blocks), they are critical for the successful completion of many levels, also for deeper game exploration.
EXPLORATION
It's one of the most important game features. World map and Main levels includes lot of hidden places, secret areas and mini games (Bonus levels and one Unique level) which can be unlocked only by deep exploration and out of the box thinking.
PLAN YOUR TACTIC
To solve successfully levels and get the maximum of them, you should first: choose the appropriate tactic, and second: wait for optimal blocks sequence (blocks appear randomly). Create the construction as optimal as you can to get more score items, which will gives you bigger score result and more Light. Some times you should destroy parts from the construction to open new possibilities and the most important, it gives you some chances to find valuable hidden items.
HAND-DRAWN ART
Dabado Puzzles possess unique art, created on paper with pencils and watercolors, which amplifies game aesthetics and the inner state of peacefulness and harmony.
COLLECT LIGHT
The Light is very valuable resource, that helps you to advance in the World map and reach new destinations. It comes from score points in levels, also from some items in the store and levels. To get more Light, you should replay Main levels many times and collect as many score points as possible, and Combos will help you to do this (Combo appear when take more than 1 score item with one block). 10 points gives you 1 Light. You can also purchase Light from Maria's store if you have collected enough buttons.
STORE
A place where you can buy items, that accelerate significantly your game progress. Some of them unlocks new game features, for example the dice. It doubles the chance of hidden items appearance in the levels. To get any of this items, you need Buttons, which appear sometimes inside the levels and other places. Buttons are rare, so don't miss the chance to get them when they appear.
REPLAYABILITY
The game is made such way, that allows you to replay the levels many times. Each new replay opens new possibilities for improving the score points and revealing the level secrets. The blocks appear randomly until the stack is empty. This mechanic make the game more intriguing.

[i]Dabado Puzzles[/i] is a very difficult puzzle game that takes its inspiration from the classic Tetris, but provides a completely different approach to block stacking. The objective in every level is to place the blocks in a configuration that allows you to reach certain spots. While in Tetris the goal is to fill up lines to the full, in [i]Dabado[/i] you’ll have to spread them out as much as possible (keeping them connected and on top of each other), and extend your construction in all directions. [b]disclaimer:[/b] [i]I did some beta testing before release.[/i] [b]dabado puzzles[/b] is a gorgeous tetris-like, and sadly that's pretty much all the praise I can give. weird shapes of varying weight are falling, try to arrange them in a way that some of them will eventually touch and collect keys (they end the level immediately, so leave them for last), goal and special items, etc. so yeah, tetris with some fluff, pointless abbreviations, a narrative of sorts, and some unnecessarily complicated (or simply unnecessary) resource management. the store page clearly states what the game is about, though not in so many words: [b]grinding the same levels over and over, and if you're not careful, you can reach an actual fail state and have to start over from the beginning[/b]. kudos for mentioning important aspects up-front and not hiding them at the bottom where nobody would notice (that's one of the very few pieces of feedback they took into consideration), but the game is [b]extremely unrewarding[/b]. what's the point of dozens of levels (10 main, 15 additional, etc.), when you'll spend repeating the first couple ad nauseam without seeing anything new, which also [b]puts a huge den…16 found this helpful
A relaxing puzzler with well hand drawn artwork and pleasant enough sound track. You have to play levels repeatedly to gain light to progress along with discovering hidden boosters, buttons and quite frankly drawing some nice patterns. While the blocks fall from the top of the screen like they do in Tetris, they move very slowly so there is no need to panic. You get plenty of time to strategically place blocks. It is a challenging game. At first sight it looks like a normal puzzle game but it appears to me that you have more degree of freedom compared to the classic. You need to put some efforts in order to get the full pleasure of it. I like the fact that all visual elements have been hand drawn. They have very unusual graphic style but the main mood is bright and inspiring. Many signs and ornaments used by the author actually have their own meaning in the real world and if you manage to guess their purpose you can actually learn useful things.2 found this helpful
Quite enjoyable and relaxing game, in the stressful everyday life we are used to live in we need to get away for a while and this game is a great way to make that happen. There is a lot of interesting information about ourselves and the world in general. It's exploratory and adventurous and there are moments that make you want to break away and go on a quest! Definitely Dabado is a different game! I haven't played recently such a game, the handmade art is just amazing, and the mechanics are very interesting and mysterious. The narative is really unique and trigger my interest to progress more in the game. Kudos for developers1 found this helpful
