Dai-chan's Great Adventure: World's End

Absolutely crazed, Unbelievably goated, incredibly soulful game here. Starts as a very janky Banjo Kazooie but then it escalates, and then it escalates, and then it escalates, and then it escalates. By the end you are playing a game completely unrecognisable to the early hours which I want to avoid spoiling so I will leave it like that. I promise the trailer does not indicate at all where the game is going, at least to the untrained eye. The jank never goes away though, if anything it only gets worse from the game's escalating ambitions. While I love this game I would only recommend to people who have a high tolerance for janky buggy gameplay. If that's you hop in because this is one of the wildest games I've ever played.

A fun 3D collectathon with more to it than meets the eye. Is it very janky at times? Yes, admittedly. It's also extremely charming and clearly a work of passion. Also the developer gave out free keys to people who supported the translation of the game, which was an incredibly nice gesture.

This is a cute little janky Touhou collectathon. The sorts of movement you can do really make it a lot of fun when you figure out how to string them together. If you're a Touhou fan, a collectathon fan, or just looking to kill a little time on a silly little game, it's definitely a good choice.

I would consider this game a sort of 3D metroidvania. You get an open world, in the sense you can travel to many places at any moment, and you get powers for easing the traversal, extending to further places. So is this an exploration game? Well, you could say that for half of the game. There's also combat and platforming, which it's a hit or miss depending how well you do. Is it a bit janky? Yes. But the game makes a play about it, so it in the end it feels somewhat natural. That also gives multiple ways to achieve a goal, so it feels dynamic. It's by no means a perfect game, the collectathon/questing are a bit conversome, but it feels very rewarding. It's also very fun to revise previous stages when the environment and enemies change, so you get challenged in places you are already familiar with.
