What Steam players say

Dark Space offers atmospheric visuals and intriguing puzzle design that players find compelling, but the game suffers from significant technical issues including bugs, unpolished controls, unreliable input registration, and poorly designed camera angles that make progression frustrating. Many players report getting stuck on puzzles or platforming sections due to these control and collision detection problems, leading to mixed experiences despite the game's strong artistic direction.
Dark space is worth the money. the atmosphere is amazing and the puzzles are fun and challenging. Definetly would recommend!10 found this helpful
Great looking game with some puzzles of medium difficulty. You will soon recognize, that everything needs a few tries to get through. You will soon recognize, that every hard parts only needs a few tries to get over it. Most of all, I probably like the way visual design affects you.5 found this helpful
Unpolished game. First puzzle was so difficult that I had to refund game. 2/10... Big NO.5 found this helpful
Atmosphere and concept art are great, but game is chock-full of bugs and errors. It should have been properly tested before being released. In its current state it's very raw and unpolished. Not recommended,4 found this helpful
Starts off pretty interesting, then you get annoyed, half the time you're fighting with the controls and bad camera angles. Even the menu is a bit hit n miss if the controller navigates the menu correctly or if you even have the ability to navigate the menu's with the controller, I had to resort to using the keyboard most of the time I wanted to access menu, like when trying to exit. enjoy 5 minutes of watching someone else give up at the same point I have got to. https://youtu.be/1ymGrwd8eFc?t=743 not my video, but this is the same point I have got to, even if you manage to grab the ledges you cannot get onto the platform because half the time the game is not registering controller inputs, so you can't even climb up, this particular area it's basically pure chance if you even get to grab the ledge in the first place let alone get onto it. Looks like it plays like Limbo, Inside and Black the Fall, but it's not as fluid or intuitive with clunky controls that have cooldown timers on your ability to use a particular jumping ability, then there's the infuriating camera angles that have your character on one side of the screen and the camera on the other side in an area you're not…4 found this helpful
I'm not sure if the game can be finished because there's a part that I couldn't get through because of the lack of plataforms to grab on. Nice game, and atmosphere but to me it's unplayable.
