What Steam players say

Players are divided on this city-builder hybrid, praising its dark atmosphere, interesting vertical building mechanics, and engaging story that blends Frostpunk and strategy elements, but criticizing incomplete execution with balance issues, unclear mechanics that don't match their descriptions, and content that feels more like early access than a finished product. While some find it worth the price with good pacing and artwork, others warn against the full asking price, suggesting it needs several patches to realize its potential, and a recent save-file bug has created additional frustration
The idea of the game is fantastic....thats where the game ends for me. This is a unknown one error start from very beginning kind of game. Nothing you do changes the game or the storyline. Build a perfect city in intro....still burns to the ground and you start over again, Investigate stockpile and evacuate to every checkpoint......still burned to ground, dont build upper platform soon enough........game over, dont build perfect ciccle of flameguards.........game over, dont explore one thing......game over, explore another thing.......game over. Your citizens do not reproduce, so you only option is immigration which never occurs unless you magically discover them camping out in the insidious fog. I really wanted to give this game a chance because you can tell the developers wanted it work, but they are missing the most important part of a city builder and that is a progression game where one small mistake doesnt force you to restart a 4 hour build.3 found this helpful
Pretty much an Elven tree version of Frostpunk and I loved it.1 found this helpful
I´ve got this Game from the Developers / Cyber Temple Games LLC : ) And they have done an awesome job. Best City Survival Builder so far. This is what Frostpunk 2 should have been. Helluva Game!1 found this helpful
Game have great potential, but it is wasted due to gameplay not being balanced out, Everything is way too easy. No challenge at all. Also UI is less than stellar. You need too many clicks to micromanage everything. Would change to positive if devs add much harder difficulty settings. Also ingame music suck. I'm not sure game even have music. And they selling soundtrack, lol!
I've played both Frostpunk games and this looked similar. This game does a lot of similar things, but nothing really stands out. I've finished the game in 12.4h. No real challenge and no difficulty options. I don't see a point to play it again and get the different endings.
Game is fine until it breaks in a quest chain in the world exploration chapter 3-4. Can't complete the main quest and got stuck (destoy an outpost but I had already captured it). Also world events got stuck (fight against monsters not triggert) while other events worked. Game feels unfinished and not polished.
