Day of the Dino

very fun for a free game

"Day of the Dino" is just a low key asset flip.. the quality of the sometimes mismatched looking assets is suspiciously much higher than the actual game is, and that's a glaring mismatch. Who's going to create a bunch of high quality assets and then phone in the actual game? It doesn't add up... unless you consider how easy it is for anyone, even people unqualified to make games, to get any and all the game assets they want. The game is essentially a kitbash of assets made by other people, poorly assembled by an amateur developer. These projects are usually rushed through Steam Direct as fast as possible, and the lack of professional standards means the end result is something no gamer should waste their time on. This kitbash is one of the overdone subgenre of "dinosaurs vs guns". The developer tried to see if he could make a few different game modes, but the takeaway here is this is an ultra low quality wave survival shooter with dinosaur assets, at best. It's not hard to see why this failed so hard on Steam Direct. It comes across as unpolished, half baked, incoherent... and I can assure you, totally unfun to try playing. So the visuals might look halfway decent at first …

the best fps ive ever played. 10/10

Game Complexity: First person survival shooter. Game Difficulty: A little hard at the beginning but very easy when you understand the mechanics. Achievements Complexity: Do some in game actions, kill enemies and start up the game. Achievements Difficulty: Very easy, you just need to play the game.
