ORION: Prelude

Game was great fun before but now it's back in active development more than 7 years after last update

It was my first Steam game I played when I went to PC with a 1050 back then and it just works smooth and its very enjoyable. The fact that he did not give up the game after many years is impressive. I recommend playing this and see for yourself.

I forgot about this game for a couple of years passively (have mentioned it to others, but that's about it). Then I see active development notes and stuff suddenly in my feed in the year of our lord 2026. I gotta give this game the thumbs up at this point. Even though I only put about 30 hours into this title, I to this day remember almost every moment : - Running the various game modes with buddies; "Gun Game" always being a blast - Figuring out the unique bosses in the special maps - When they added the giant snow region - pretty sure we had a 6 hour session just vibing - Have booted this up numerous times just to solo some dinos The gameplay might not have been the most concise, and sure - some glitches where to be expected when this much content is coming to you for $1, but even then it was never anything so bad that I cared enough to remember it today. If I had to draw some length of comparison though for those who like "It's like _ with _" or whatever; a lot of it is essentially Turok if it was the Zombies mode from COD. You got some crazy weapons and tech like Turok (jetpack/cloaking/healer class, then some weapons are silly like a laser sword), but you just buy them at b…
