Really pleasant surprise that just randomly popped up on my radar a few weeks back, a game that scratches my very specific autistic itch of a 90s-core throwback ship command simulator in the style of EGA Trek (but without the weird racism). There isn't a huge amount of content on offer, just procedurally generated patrol taskings where you go, sail around (it's a *ship*, not a piddly little space fighter) and look for enemy ships to engage, take as prizes, respond to distress calls from merchants and... that's kind of it? Not hugely mechanically deep and complex either, it's no Dangerous Waters, it's not even Highfleet, but it makes up for it with style and wonderful tactility. I really hope it gets expanded upon, it's a really good starting point mechanically and I'd love to see new ships, new weapons, new enemy ship types and patrol objectives (I can't believe I'm saying this but give us convoy escort taskings please), maybe even fleet actions? I won't mind if it isn't either, a passion project is a passion project and unlike the average Steam user I wouldn't dream of slapping on a thumbs down just because a solo developer working in her spare time dared to not adhere to a live…

This is an incredibly cool game, I can only hope that more content is added allowing more time to be spent enjoying the game, maybe a deeper sandbox or more to do within said sandbox, more options for your ship, the difficulty/complexity is right where it should be, in every way i mentioned and any way I didnt it just needs fleshing out, as it is its very very worth the cost and the time to learn. The tutorials are much more straight forward then i thought they would be, I thought i would be stuck for an hour or two learning the in's and out's but in reality it took me about 15-20ish minutes to finish the majority and have enough knowledge to start the campaign and then figure the rest out within. The only thing that took me a moment was my first experience with the auxiliary power and that you have to hit execute to pass time allowing it to charge your batteries to then initiate the reactor, i was a little stumped for a few minutes, after that things clicked. From some of the reviews and vids I've seen it looks like the campaign might be a little short because there's only so much to do, I've only completed a patrol so far and failed another time so i still have a bit more to e…

This is a neat and enjoyable little game. It has a great naval combat theme to it, and it scratches the 'Master and Commander' itch in a sci-fi way. I don't think it's meant to be as deep as people are expecting it to be. You go out on patrol, hunt the enemy ships, and sink, burn, or take them aprize. It may go deeper than that, but only time will tell. Well worth the price in my opinion.

My idea of cozy games is probably a little different to others, but this feels very cosy to me. I love turn-based tactics and strategy, with this game offering chill or dramatic sessions based on your choices along with way. Want to just fly around and enjoy the scenery, can do; want to push your luck with your little corvette against the destroyers, gor for it! (since v1.1) Easy to pop-in make a few moves, save and get back to it later, no pressure.

Really great Game with a lot of old school nostalgia. Super responsive Dev. I Hope this game is a success and the Dev considers a real succesor of Objects in Space with focus on space combat.

this game is fun already, it'll only get better with continued development. highly recommend for folks who like single player strategy. a little reminiscent of janes 688i or other early sub-sims, but streamlined nicely.
