✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the game's solid core concept but note it suffers from various bugs that impact usability, particularly with menus failing to close properly through standard methods like ESC or the open button, forcing players to interact with objects again to dismiss them. While bugs are considered understandable for a recent release, these interface issues create frustrating gameplay friction that detracts from the experience.

It is just digging through dirt to collect coal and some ore to then sell for stronger pick, and yet I couldn't tell the difference between before and after upgrade, also it is all just dirt, I dug all the way to the bottom, to each side of the border, I've dug and dug and dug, and found nothing but dirt, idk why the steam page talks about other biomes or whatever, it's just dirt. 2.2/10, very boring, and pretty often when try getting back out you will 'die from falling too far' despite you jumping up from ledge to ledge

Definitely a solid concept, still some bugs throughout though. However, as it has only been recently released, that makes sense. The primary bug I encountered was with menus not closing. Typically, in games, if you want to close a menu, you hit ESC or the same button you used to open it. However, in this game, the menu stays up even if you walk away. Pressing ESC only brings up the main ESC menu over top of the current screen, regardless of if you are in another menu already. Pressing the same key does nothing. And if you click off of the menu, you can't hit the X anymore to close it, you have to go back to the object, interact with it without being able to see what you are doing due to the menu, and then hit the X to close. The other bug I've noticed is that the digging mechanic is exact. If you point and dig, it digs exactly there. This means that there can be a one pixel sized piece of dirt or grass blocking your path, which is frustrating to try and located to remove. I think a solution would be some kind of check run when the digging action is initiated, to make sure there are no pieces of X size or smaller that are left behind. It is very frustrating. Other than those two …
