About Hypogean
Hypogean is a relaxed digging simulation which takes place in a neon, sci-fi underground city named Hypogea. The player is hired as the newest miner of Hypogea, an expert in wielding the so called “drilling machine.”
Your goal is to mine ores, return them to the city, turn them in for cash, upgrade your drilling machine, and then repeat. Plain and simple. Hypogea corporation offers a wide variety of upgrades to your machinery, so that your mining endeavors become much more enjoyable, efficient, and interesting.
Explore different underground biomes, hypogean biotopes.
Find hidden and forgotten Driller Parts that previous miners left behind.
Unearth ancient valuables covered under tons of dirt and rock.

What can one say about Hypogean, it is a cute and fun for a little drilling game! While drilling seems to be the concept, it is riddled with minor bugs/issues that need to be addressed. Such as sound issues, graphics clipping and other titbits. I know why Hypogean is so cheap and honestly if you are interested you should wait for the sale as the price point seems steep for such a small game. What was more funny, while in Hypogean I found that smashing the robots was more interesting then the original concept itself. Anyway I find it hard to give the game a thumbs up or even a thumbs down. If I had a neutral option I would choose it! In the end I will say this, do your research be for jumping in to Hypogean. Hypogean is a short but interesting casual mining game inspired by games like Motherload and Deep Rock Galactic. It is a fun little experience with coherent progression, a few shortcomings, and some secrets along the way! If it looks interesting it's worth trying it out for sure. / pre-release tester1 found this helpful
